The unit comprises of a sturdy powder coated steel frame with a lifting hoist to enable a big bags to be discharged into a hopper from where it can be conveyed away using a hopper loader, centralised conveying system, or screw feeder.
Operation
The big bag is first positioned in front of the frame on its pallet. The operator then lowers the lifting frame over the big bag and attaches the loops of the big bag to the hooks on the frame. The bag is then raised using the hoist to a height where its base is higher than the top of the discharge hopper. Once at this height the operator can easily push the big bag into position above the discharge hopper and unfurl the big bag discharge tube into the socket on top of of the discharge hopper.
Motan install the unit and provide the load test certificate required for this type of equipment.
