Thermal oil
Beware of cheap imitations…our thermal oil is developed for up to 315°C for use with any oil ‘Temperature Contol Unit'.
It will not degrade into a thick sludge which needs to be scraped out manually every year. Although best practise dictates that thermal oil should be changed at least annually (process dependent)

SR80 - thermal oil additive
Keep your new oil circuit in pristine condition using Regloplas 'SR80 System Cleaner'. Developed in conjunction with Exxon, it prevents oil carbon deposits forming in a new system and will clean up old circuits (with the exception of total oil breakdown and the formation of large quantities of sludge). This is particularly useful for open tank oil circuits where consistent temperatures and circulation cannot be guaranteed.
- Strongly recommended for all Regloplas thermal oil models as a precaution.
- Removes oil-carbon deposits and contamination from metal surfaces, so that they circulate in the flow and are carried to the filter.
- Filter must be used.
- Acts as a cleaner, but will not remove large quantities of hard oxidized oil. This must be carefully removed manually before treatment begins.
- Inexpensive – 1 litre bottle (with measuring scale)
- Cleaning dose ~ 3%
- Maintenance dose ~ 1%
- Optimal cleaning effect between 120-150˚C
- Contains no solvents but can be dissolved in all mineral and synthetic oils.
- Maximum temperature ~ 300˚C
